The Brownhelm Heritage Museum is located at 1355 Claus Road in Vermilion.  The museum is in the original German Reformed Curch built in 1870.  Many artifacts are on display during the Alumni 'open house' in May.  Current projects are renovating the old brick school house at 1940 North Ridge Road in Brownhelm Township and maintaining Brown's Lake Road Cemetery.  The school was built in 1889 with additions in 1905 and 1922.  School alumni class photographs line the hallway and old time school desks are on display along with awards, trophies and other school memorabilia.  Visit our facebook page--The Brownhelm Historical Association--for updates and to schedule a tour of these Brownhelm landmarks.
