The Stow Historical Society, was founded in 1949 to gather and preserve historical data pertaining to Stow Township. The donation of the original stage-coach stop to the Society in 1972, The Heritage House museum , followed by the donation of the Minnie Darrow House, in 1985, and the donation of the Mary Starr house in 1992, then the donation of the Stewart School in 2012 to the Society ! We also raised funds to build a barn in 1998 that houses our antique loom & tools. We offer tours annually to Stow 3rd grade students as well as home school groups! History in a basket is available also!
